IBI International only trades with legal products from controlled suppliers. All lumber we deliver have legal origin as regulated by IBAMA, the Brazilian Department of Environmental Affairs. This means that all exported lumber follows regulations for sustainable forestry.

For us at IBI International, the act of trading tropical lumber means a high level of both environmental and social responsibility. For this reason, IBI International is a FSC-certified company (Certificate SGS-COC-008015).

The trademark of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) indicates that the wood used to make the product comes from a forest which is well managed according to strict environmental, social and economic standards.

FSC is an international, non-profit association whose membership comprises environmental and social groups and progressive forestry and wood retail companies in partnership to improve forest management worldwide.

IBI International is improving the range of FSC-marked products and encourages our customers to promote these products.
